#GoodNews: Cruise Passengers Stop Vacation to Help Dorian Victims

About 3,000 passengers on a cruise liner decided to turn their vacation into a mission to help victims of Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas. The Celebrity Equinox left Fort Lauderdale, Florida last weekend and changed course after the storm hit. Rather than returning to Florida, the crew members and guests all agreed to turn the trip into a humanitarian mission by preparing, packaging, and serving more than 10,000 sandwiches and water bottles to Bahama residents affected by the storm.

Even the children got involved by making handmade cards for evacuees who might need some personal encouragement.
