Dan Reynolds Reveals The First Song He Learned On Guitar

Every musician had to start somewhere — even the rockstars — and Dan Reynolds recently revealed the song that made him want to pick up a guitar. The Imagine Dragons frontman took to Instagram to share a video of him playing acoustic guitar and singing along to Damien Rice's 2002 ballad, "The Blower's Daughter."

"this is the first song I learned to play on the guitar as a teenager. still love it today," he captioned the clip. "it’s by the incredibly talented @damienrice- wishing you all a wonderful day around the world. ♥️"

It's been quite the whirlwind year for Reynolds. After he and his wife Aja Volkman announced they were separating last spring, they decided to try and reconcile their marriage. Nearly a year after sharing that news, the couple welcomed their fourth child, Valentine Reynolds, in October.

As the decade winds down, we've been taking a look at the bands, songs, and albums that defined the 2010s, and there's no doubt that Imagine Dragons top a lot of those lists. "Radioactive" (along with many of their other hit singles) is one of the most iconic songs of the past 10 years, and the band holds three of the Top 5 songs on Billboard's Hot Rock end of the decade chart.
